Profile and About Robert Lenz Artist

As a painting and Fine Arts major at the University of Illinois, Robert Lenz exhibited oil and watercolor landscapes and still lifes throughout the Chicago area during the late fifties and early sixties.
Upon graduation he migrated to New York and began a successful and award winning career as a Creative Director in the Advertising business.

Thirty five years later, in 1998, he returned to his first love, painting. In order to refresh and re-start his earlier ambition, he has studied at the Silvermine School of Art in New Canaan, CT., the Washington Art Association in Washington CT., the National Academy of Design and the Art Students’ League in New York City.

Now living in South Kent, CT. and New York City, he is working full time both inside and outside of his studio and has resumed a prolific career as a painter and print maker. His work has recently been exhibited exclusively at the Morrison Gallery in Kent, CT. In addition to exhibiting, Bob is also teaching through the Washington Art Association.
